There are 3 options for the RATR event:
After feedback from the last couple of years the routes will remain the same as last year. The longer routes will use South and North Arm roads out of Bowraville to make up the distance and put a ‘hilly’ spin on the 85km ride. The mid distance 50km will run out the beautiful South Arm road only.
Click on the maps to have a look at the routes in detail on ‘Ride with GPS’.
25km – a route that most people should be able to knock over on just about any bike in the allotted 3 hours
50km – so you want a bit more, this route has been altered to include South Arm road.
85km – the new length, test your legs on this ‘undulating’ route … 1400m – smash it out!
On Sunday: Riders should park and register at the Macksville Cycle Club shade located at the north end of Macksville Showground and have a short warm-up ride. Be registered and ready to go for an 8:45 am briefing. The ride finishes back at the showground.
Please note that we are planning to close the Pacific Highway to allow the RATR to cross the Nambucca River so the starting organisation will have to be pretty tight!
